In the past few years, the rabbis of Israel have questioned as to whether the seventy year prophecy of Jeremiah was actually fulfilled because the Jews were not in Babylon for a full seventy years. Maybe we are at a very important conjunction of time in Jewish history for it appears that another 70 years is about to be visited upon the Jewish people. It was about 605 BCE, before the arrival of the forces of King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon, the Prophet Jeremiah pronounced an interesting prophecy concerning to the return of the Jews from exile. We suggest that maybe imbedded in the Seventy Year Prophecy of Jeremiah was a dual prophecy. Let us continue our journey and study the last global imperial dream of Adolf Hitler, its catastrophic affect upon the Jewish people, the history of the roots of the German Reichs, and the enigmatic hint that the DNA imprint of Hitler is literally with us here today. As the European Union and Germany’s charismatic chancellor leads the ancient provinces of Rome to their prophetic destiny, will these three Reichs of Germany presage the rise of the Fourth Reich of the Leopard bodied “Sea Beast” of Revelation 13, and the “Messiah the Prince” of Daniel 7?

Jeremiah 25:11 – “And this whole land shall be a desolation and an astonishment, and these nations shall serve the king of Babylon seventy years. Then it will come to pass, when seventy years are completed, that I will punish the king of Babylon and that nation, the land of the Chaldeans, for their iniquity’, says the Lord; ‘and I will make it a perpetual desolation.’”

Redemption from the Divinely Destined Holocaust during the Exile

Jeremiah 29:10 – “For thus says the Lord: After seventy years are completed at Babylon, I will visit you and perform My good word towards you, and cause you to return to this place. For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. …I will gather you from all the nations and from all the places where I have driven you, says the Lord, and I will bring you to the place from which I caused you to be carried away captive.”

The Jewish people were not, and had not been in exile at the time of this prophecy. According to the urgency of Jeremiah, he sought to persuade the King of Israel, his own grandson Zedekiah, not to rebel against the Babylonians. The king was so furious that he burned the prophetic scroll given to him by his grandfather Jeremiah, so Jeremiah had to write it again. Yet, the God of Israel did state with certainty that the Jewish people would return to their homeland and the date when it would happen.

The Jewish people have experienced two exiles, with two redemptions and restorations to their homeland in Israel. The Jewish capital of Jerusalem has been conquered over twenty five times in its history, but that national capital with its holy temple has been destroyed twice. Is it not amazing that the destruction of the First Temple of Solomon and the Second Temple of Zerubabbel reconstructed by King Herod the Great were both destroyed on the same day of the Jewish year, the day of the 9^th of Av? The temple of Solomon was destroyed on the 9^th of Av in the year of 586 BCE. The temple of Herod was destroyed on the 9^th of Av in the year of 70 CE.

After the first temple of Solomon was destroyed on the 9^th of Av in the year of 586 BCE, a new temple was built and ready for dedication 70 years later on the 9^th of Av in the year of 516 BCE. The Temple of Zerubabbel was finally dedicated the following spring on March 15, 515 BCE to the God of Israel by Yehoshua I (High Priest Jesus I), the high priest of Israel. The second temple of Zerubabbel that was enlarged and restored by King Herod the Great was destroyed on the 9^th of Av in the year of 70 CE. This temple has never been rebuilt or restored.

Yet with these two exiles, we find that there were also two attempts to exterminate the Jewish people. The first attempt to exterminate the House of Judah was not by the Babylonians, where the Jewish people prospered, but in the Persian Empire under the rule of King Ahasueras and his Prime Minister Haman, a descendant of Agog, the king of the ancient Amalekites. They were the tribe that genetically hated the Jewish people the worst of all the nations and empires in earth’s history. The Jewish people in exile in Persia were under the threat of complete extermination. Except for the divine intervention through the prayers and efforts of Esther, the Jewish Queen of King Ahasuerus and her uncle Mordecai, the Jewish people would have been virtually wiped off the face of the earth.

Yet the second temple of Herod that was destroyed in 70 CE by the Roman forces of Hadrian, the “Messiah the Prince”, who was the son of the Roman Emperor Vespasius, was never restored. Over two million Jewish died in the consuming flames that destroyed not only Jerusalem but also the temple of the Lord. It is also fascinating that now Emperor Hadrian, as the “Messiah the Prince”, also erected an “abomination of desolation” and placed it upon the site of the Holy Temple. According to a commentary on Isaiah by Jerome, an equestrian statue of Emperor Hadrian was placed directly over the site of the Holy of Holiest.

Yet this was not the greatest attempt to exterminate the Jewish people. Out of the longest exile of almost two thousand years, the second and greatest attempt to exterminate the Jewish people occurred during the Great German Nazi Holocaust that began in 1942 and ended in 1948 CE. The question we ask, if there were two exiles that began on the 9^th of Av, that included the destruction of the Jewish holy city, Jerusalem plus their holy temple, why was there only one restoration seventy years later?

What we now have noticed, these two prophecies are not the same. The first prophecy in Jeremiah 25:11 was specific to the king and the nation in the land of the Chaldeans. The second prophecy in Jeremiah 29:10 was directed to the Diaspora where the Jews had been driven by the God of Israel for the last two thousand years.

The permanent exile of the Jewish people from Jerusalem in 70 CE has been used by many “Spiritual Israelite” prophetic scholars as the purpose for the “conditional prophecies” that state that the Jews, as a national people, are no longer a participant in the coming redemption at the time of the end because they killed the first messiah in 30 CE.

Yet it was BibleSearchers Reflections, in the article titled, “Jesus the Nazarene and the Pharisees of Beit Shammai” that documented that it was not the Jewish people, but the corrupt hierarchy of the temple of Herod controlled by the House of Ananus (Hanan) in alliance with the Pharisees of Beit Shammai that were responsible for the death of Yehoshua by hanging on a tree.

Using the typology of “shadow pictures” that give us a visual prophetic image like a mini-drama or rehearsal performance before the actual performance of a great play, could we suggest that seventy years after the beginning of the Holocaust during the Third Reich of Germany, the temple of the Jews will again be restored?

Maybe the identity of “Babylon” in the Three Angels Messages as being America or a prophecy that was to have been completed in 1844 or last for the last 160 plus years (4 generations of forty years) has been misunderstood all along?

Revelation 14:8 – “And another angel followed, saying, ‘Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she has made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication’”

It has been commonly understood that imperial German Empire or Realm under Adolf Hitler was called the Third Reich from the years of 1933 to the year of 1945. It is also believed that this name, the Third Reich came from Arthur Möller van den Bruck’s (1876-1925) book called "Das dritte Reich" that was published in 1923.

The Three German Reichs

Yet it was the First Reich that began centuries ago in the year of 800 CE, when Charlemagne (Charles the Great) was crowned by Pope Leo III on Christmas Day in Rome.

Outside of those historians who claim the Holy Roman Empire began with the crowning of Otto I (Otto the Great) in the year of 962 CE, it is believed that the First Reich as the Holy Roman Empire of the German Reich (Heiliges Römisches Reich Deutscher) began in 800 CE. This empire under the control of the Roman Catholic Church was seen as the “Holy” transformation of the Roman Empire.

The Second Reich came as the rise of the Hohenzollern German unification that followed the Franco-Prussian War in 1870-1871. It began with the crowning of Wilhelm I as the German Emperor at the Palace of Versailles outside of Paris, France. With the Second Reich, the first Reichskanzler or Chancellor of Germany was Otto von Bismarck.

This German Empire lasted until the abdication of Kaiser Wilhelm II in 1919 following the defeat of the Germans in the First World War. After World War I, the Weimar Republic (1919 to 1933) became the Interim Reich between the Hohenzollern Empire and the Third Reich of Nazi Germany when Adolf Hitler on January 30, 1933 was appointed Chancellor of Germany.

The Third Reich and the “Final Solution”

Looking over the panorama of history, we have to ask, if the final incarnation of the Holy Roman Empire went to the Second Reich of Kaiser Wilhelm I’s Germany then to the Third Reich of Adolf Hitler’s Nazi Germany, does the God of Israel desire for us to seriously reconsider the “Final Solution” of Nazi Germany’s Great Jewish Holocaust and its role in biblical prophecy?

Did the Nazi Holocaust play a role in the final restoration of the Jewish people? Of course, we say! Without the fires of the Holocaust the Jewish people may not have accepted the idea of returning to their own homeland in Israel. What is even more certain, without the Holocaust, the rest of the world would not have voted overwhelmingly on November 29, 1947 in the United Nation to allow the Jews to return to their national homeland.

Daniel 8:19 – “He said, ‘I am ready to inform you what will be after the wrath (holocaust), for at the appointed time is the End.” (translated by Rabbi Hersh Goldwurm in “Daniel” published by Mesorah Publications)

It was on October 24, 1945 when the Allies after World War II ratified the charter of the United Nations in a ceremony at Washington D.C. The “appointed time” was about to commence. Yet, the “time of the end” would not arrive without the chance for all the nations of the world to approve the “sign” that the end of the age was here. That “sign” was the establishment of a National Homeland for the Jewish people. As printed in the official “Declaration of the Establishing the State of Israel on May 15, 1948” posted by the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs:

Declaration of the Establishing the State of Israel – “On the 29^th November, 1947, the United Nations General Assembly passed a resolution calling for the establishment of a Jewish State in Eretz-Israel; the General Assembly required the inhabitants of Eretz-Israel (Land of Israel) to take such steps as were necessary on their part for the implementation of that resolution. This recognition by the United Nations of the right of the Jewish people to establish their State is irrevocable.”

This “appointed time” in history was also prophetically given to the prophet Daniel with a specific date and time of the year by the Archangel Gabriel. As interpreted by the Jewish sages, the date for this special event, using the calendar of the Jews, the culmination of the prophecy of Daniel 8:14 would be 2300 years after the dedication or “cleansing” of the new “sanctuary” of Zerubabbel on the Jewish calendar date of 350 BCE.

Daniel 8:14 – “UNTIL the EVE of the MORN of 2300 (years from the time) that the sanctuary will be cleansed (v’nitzdak kodesh).”

The Arab nations nor any other gentile power, no longer had control over their holy sites or their relationship with their God. The Jewish people had at that moment of time the right and privilege given to them by the God of Israel to take possession of their land. Every year that they choose not to affirm the command of the Lord, the violence will get worse and the nations of the earth will continue to press and crowd around them. The actions of the government of the State of Israel and the affirmation of the citizens of that nation will spell out their own destiny.

On November 29, 1947, the United Nations General Assembly voted to partition Palestine into two independent states--Jewish and Arab. Yet the understanding of the prophecy is not complete. There is a part of the prophecy that is called the “boker” part of the day. It states, “until the eve of the morning of 2300 years.” The “boker” part of the morning is the early part of the morning. According to the halachic opinion, it is the very first quarter of the day. (Talmud B’rachos 9b) The “boker” part of the year is the first three months of the Jewish year: Tishrei, Cheshvari and Kislev which is equivalent to our October, November and December. This is understood because Tishrei is the first month of the Jewish year which begins at Rosh HaShanah.

So in this Jewish prophecy that was given to Daniel for the Jewish people just prior to their return to the Land of Israel, it was prophesied to them the year and the quarter of the year that they as a people would have international legal authority to take possession of their country and their holy sites. This prophecy would also tell the Jewish people the year and the quarter of the year that would begin the process of redeeming them spiritually to the status of the holy people that truly would represent their Holy God.

Before that date they were pariahs (outcasts) in the eyes of the nations of the earth. On the date of 16 Kislev 5708, November 29, 1947, in the “morning” of the year (October to December), the United Nations voted unanimously that the Nation of Israel would be created. They were not forced to have a nation. They were not even given a nation on a ‘silver platter’ or given United Nations military or political support to establish their nation. The Jewish people had to fight and drive out the British. They had to fight and destroy a military force of a coalition of five Arab national states that were financed through the Muslim Brotherhood by the British Intelligence Services before they could establish their nation in the Land of Israel.

Have the Jewish people asserted their rights to exercise control over their holy sites? No! The Jewish people could have taken full control of the Land of Israel in 1948 if they had rejected the United Nations cease-fire proposal initiated by the pleading of the Arabs and advised by Menachem Begin and other leaders in 1948.

They chose a cease fire instead of taking possession of all the land that was given to them first by the League of Nations and then by the United Nations on November 29, 1947. Thousands of Jewish lives and billions of dollars later, the Nation of Israel is now under the control by the globalists of the Golden Internationale, the Council of Foreign Relations (CFR). It is the CFR who controls the Israeli industry, the Israeli media, and the Israeli government, the Israeli Supreme Court, the Israeli National Bank and the Israeli Defense Force (IDF).”

Revived Holy Roman Empire as the Black Internationale?

As we enter the final phase of the “Drama of the Ages” as prophecy is fulfilled before our eyes, we return to a haunting question. Did Adolph Hitler leave a legacy for the final revelation of the “Golden Internationale” absorbed by the “Black Internationale” and finally morphed into the “Sea Beast” of Revelation 13?

Let us remind ourselves, that the cosmic battle between good and evil is a conflict that involves all the seven levels of heaven. With the devolution of Satan (HaSatan) and the dark forces under his command, from the archons of the spirit world to the manifested physical world, we will see also the evolution and final manifestation of the “Sea Beast” of Revelation 13 in the final “dramatic conclusion” of the “Drama of the Ages”.

If the following account is correct, we see in part how the finger of the God of Israel is mixing the “cup of indignation” for the final “act” of abomination. On January 7, 2007, it was reported on the blog site of The Society of Qualified Archivists that the “Daughter of Adolph Hitler Vows To Complete European Union”.

Dr. Carl Clauberg, the worst of the “Angels of Death” Physicians at the Nazi Concentration Camps

It was reported that in the waning years after the destruction of Nazi Germany by the Western Allied Forces and the Russians, that one of the most ruthless of war criminals, the German Doctor Carl Clauberg. According to the Jewish Virtual Library, Clauberg asked Heinrich Himmler, the head of the German Gestapo, in 1942;

Jewish Virtual Library - ”to offer him the possibility to sterilize a multitude of people for his experiments. Thus, Clauberg came to Auschwitz in December 1942 and part of Block No. 10 in the Main Camp was put at his disposal. Looking for a “cheap and efficient” method to sterilize women, he injected acid liquids to their uterus without anaesthetics. Thousands of Jewish and Gypsy women were subjected to this treatment. They were sterilized by the injections, producing horrible pain, inflamed ovaries, bursting spasms in the stomach, and bleeding. The injections seriously damaged the ovaries of the victims, which were then removed and sent to Berlin. Clauberg's experiments killed some of his subjects, and others were put to death so that autopsies could be performed. In June 1943, Clauberg wrote to Himmler,

Dr. Carl Clauberg – ‘The non-surgical method of sterilizing women that I have invented is now almost perfected . . . As for the questions that you have directed to me, sir, I can today answer them in the way that I had anticipated: if the research that I am carrying out continues to yield the sort of results that it has produced so far …then I shall be able to report in the foreseeable future that one experienced physician, with an appropriately equipped office and the aid of ten auxiliary personnel, will be able to carry out in the course of a single day the sterilization of hundreds, or even 1,000 women.’"

As the Red Army was closing in on Germany - Clauberg escaped and moved to the Ravensbruck concentration camp. He was later captured by the Soviet forces, convicted in the Soviet Courts as a “war criminal”, held in the custody by the Soviets for seven years, and then freed as he was recognized as the “Father” of artificial insemination.

Known in history as one of the “Angels of Death”, Carl Clauberg was given leniency for turning over to the KGB the custody of the archives of the Nazi artificial insemination experimentations. Of most interest, to the Soviets, was the frozen “sperm bank” especially the “frozen sperm” of the late Nazi Fuehrer, Adolf Hitler.

After taking custody of the sperm bank, the Politburo, called the Soviet Politicheskoye Buro, gave its authorization for an experimental program to preserve the genetic DNA markers of Adolf Hitler by seeking to reproduce what he had been unable, a child by his wife Eva Braun.

Doctor “Carl”, this former professor of gynecology at Keonigsberg University, was sent to bring to the Communist East Germany (GFR), the youngest sister of Eva Braun, Gretl Braun, to be a “surrogate” mother as an artificial insemination recipient of the Fuehrer’s sperm. As the Soviets reasoned, this would be a “near match” to an actual child between Adolf Hitler and Eva Braun.

Eva and Gretl Pardoned under the German-Soviet repatriation agreement after serving only 7 out of 25 years for his crimes related to the sterilization of prisoners, he moved to the Federal Republic of (West) Germany and there in the city of Kiel, he began to brag about his “scientific work”. After the "Zentralrat der Juden" (Central council of Jews) made their case against him, he was arrested in November 1955 by the German and American authorities. In August 1957, he was reputedly “murdered” while in the custody of the West Germans and Americans, only days before a new trial in West Germany was to begin.

It was in 1954, a child was born, a baby girl, whom the reports repute to be Angela Merkel, the Chancellor of Germany. With the official birthday of July 17, 1954, it is of interest that the Stasi GDR’s file on Angela Merkel, that is currently in the Soviet KGB archives, documents that her birth was on April 20, 1954. If the feared secret police’s citizen’s file in the Ministerium für Staatssicherheit (GDR) is correct, then Hitler’s daughter, Angela Merkel was born on 65^th anniversary of Adolph Hitler’s birthday on April 20, 1889.

Soon after Angela’s birth, by agreement between the Soviets, the Americans and the Vatican, Merkel was placed in the custody of the GDR Lutheran Church and officially was born on July 17, as Angela Dorothea Kasner, the daughter of Horst Kasner, a Lutheran pastor, and his wife, Herlind an English and Latin teacher. There in the countryside at Templin in East Germany, Merkel was raised about 50 miles north of Berlin, the capital of the socialist German Democratic Republic (GDR).

Even more interesting was that Angela’s mother was a member of the Social Democratic Party (SPD), whose ideology since 1875, centered upon the principles of Marxism and the interests of the working class and trade unions. In what was known as the Godesberg Program, it was not until 1959, four years after Angela Merkel was born, and placed as an adopted child in the home of a German Pastor, whose wife was an ideological communist, did the SDP of West Germany officially abandon its Marxist principles and the concept of the workers party. Instead, they began to promote its social welfare program. Inherently neutralist, the SDP was initially opposed to the rearmament of Germany with its entrance into NATO. It later came to affirm the reunification of East and West Germany and today is an avid supporter of the final resurrection of the Holy Roman Empire as it morphed into its final manifestation as the first, and foremost Super-state of the European Union with its military arm as the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. Soon, the rest of the world will follow in the footsteps of Rome.

It was Gerd Lanqquth, formerly a senior member of the right wing Christian Democratic Union that Merkel headed, wrote in his book, as reported by Luke Harding in The Observer in an article dated June 26, 2005 and titled, “East German Past of Iron Lady Unveiled”:

The Observer – “In it Langguth suggests that Merkel's father, Horst Kasner, a Protestant priest, actively collaborated with the communist regime in East Germany. In 1954, at the height of the Cold War, Kasner moved from West Germany to the East at a time when most Germans were travelling in the opposite direction. He settled with his family in Templin, where he ran a seminary for young priests. According to Langguth, Kasner's 'sympathetic' relationship with the communist regime was rewarded with privileges: two cars, at a time when most East Germans had to wait years to get one; the right to travel to the West; even a trip to Italy. Merkel's father was instrumental in splitting the Protestant church in Germany, insisting that a separate church be set up in the German Democratic Republic. 'He belonged to a group of ministers who were very co-operative with the communist system. It was a minority, but he belonged to the minority…

Merkel, who only entered politics at the age of 35 after the collapse of the Berlin Wall in 1990, has been reluctant to discuss her past and private life. The biography stops short of suggesting that her father worked for the Stasi, the notorious East German secret police. But it says his pro-regime attitude helped Angela's career - allowing her to study at an elite comprehensive school, and go on to university, at a time when the children of clergy were routinely refused places. The teenage Merkel, like virtually all of her contemporaries, joined the Freie Deutsche Jugend (FDJ), the communist youth organisation. But Langguth believes she was never a communist.”

Since the Kasner family appeared to have political ties with both East and West Germany, we might suggest that they became one of the first modern global internationalists, not accountable totally to either the economic bloc of Western Europe or to the Communist bloc of Eastern Europe. There in the Soviet occupied regions of East Germany, the SDP (Social Democratic Party) merged with the Communist Party of Germany and formed the Socialist Unity Party of Germany (SED) in 1946. This union lasted until the fall of Communist rule in 1989.”

As the New Statesman article, headlines, “Forged in the old communist East, Germany's chancellor-in-waiting is not like the others” as it continued:

New Statesman – “Merkel's version of the communist years is littered with little lies or inconsistencies. The campaign biographies of Merkel are designed to celebrate the first Ossi (the first easterner) to make a serious bid for the job of chancellor…Yet Merkel was never an entirely normal Ossi. Her father, Horst Kasner, was a Lutheran pastor who had moved from the West to the East, eager to help prop up Christianity under communism. He was a daunting figure. At the Waldhof vicarage in Templin, outside Berlin, he helped train other priests. The church adjoined a centre for handicapped children, thrust out of view by the communists. Angela's problem, says her latest biographer, Gerd Langguth, was Kasner's coldness: his warmth was reserved for the trainee priests and the disabled children. From his eldest daughter he expected more and he seemed to be constantly disappointed by her. With this unusual blend between a West German Lutheran pastor and his intimate relationships with the communists of East German gives one pause that possibly the Soviet’s revelation of Angela Merkel’s past is the truth. Yet, we also must ask, what was the role of the Vatican in the life of the Kasner family was gave them the freedom as globalist internationalists and pass easily between the East and the West when the “Iron Curtain” seemed impregnable during the height of the Cold War? Is it also of coincidence that it was 146 years ago, on November 22, 1859, the global secularist made a frontal assault on the bastion of the Hebrew-Judaic creation origins of all humans? With the publication of Charles Darwin’s "On the Origin of Species by Means of Natural Selection", within two generations, the Christian West was divorced from the understanding of their true origins. The “power” of the Christian “saints” was broken, as they were fragmented from the God of their Creation.

As if the above story with all its implications is not surreal, then the 1998 issue, “Prophecy in the News” magazine the unusual and incredible story unfolds as revealed by author J.R. Church in his article, “Roots of the Presidents”. (“Roots of the Presidents,” by J.R. Church, Prophecy in the News, July 1998, pages 18-19) Whether this documentation is true, cannot be proven. Yet, it does deserve to be watched with its potential prophetic implications.

During the years of the merger of the Father of the Rothschild world banking dynasty, the Jewish Mayer Amschel Bauer Rothschild, the Shabbatean protégée of the 1666 Jewish messiah, Shabbatai Zevi, Jacob Frank, and the founder of the Masters of the Illuminate of Bavaria, the Jewish Jesuit trained, Adam Weishaupt, the following story was recorded in the Rothschild family records. The Patriarch Mayer Amschel claimed to have been visited by a “heavenly visitor” in 1773. He was informed that Jesus was not the true messiah and that from his Rothschild family a descendant would arise in the last half of the twentieth century that would become the messiah of the world. J.R. Church – “There is no official documentation for what I am about to relate. I talked with a man in the summer of 1996 who claimed to be a descendant of the Rothschild banking family. He informed me that Bill Clinton used to attend their family functions as a boy. This man grew up in the same town with Clinton. They attended the same schools. He would see Bill at family get-togethers wearing a Jewish skullcap.

According to him, Bill Clinton is a descendant of the Rothschild family. He said the rabbis would kiss his hand and refer to him as the Segulah Yeled Eklatosh—the ‘royal-boy-chosen’… A few later I read in ‘The Jewish festivals’ by Hayyim Schauss (published in 1938) that the Roman Emperor Nero had faked his death, escaped and married a Jewish woman.

The famous thirteenth century Rabbi Meir (also spelled Meyer) of the Rothenberg, Germany, claimed direct descent from Nero. I called my Rothschild family friend and asked if there was a family connection. Two days later he called me back, and said ‘Yes! The Rothschilds are descended from Nero!”

Concerning Nero, according to Jewish legend, about 66 CE, a dispute broke out between the Gentile Greeks in Caesarea and the Jews in Jerusalem. As recorded in the Talmud (Tractate Gitin 56a-b) the Emperor Nero came to Jerusalem. There he ordered his military consort to fire arrows to the four corners of the globe. They all fell inside the city of Jerusalem. Later he stopped a young Jewish lad and asked the child to repeat to him what he had learned in his yeshiva (Torah school) that day. The young boy immediately repeated the verse, “I will lay my vengeance upon Edom by the hand of my people Israel.” (Ezekiel 25:14) In terror, Nero stated, “God desires to lay waste His House and to lay the blame on me.”

The Emperor fled to Rome and later converted to Judaism in an act to avoid the retributive justice of God and married a Jewish woman. The descendants of that lineage according to Jewish histories was Rabbi Meir Ba'al Ha-Nes (literally called Rabbi Meir – Master of the Miracle), was recognized as one of the most famous Jewish sages who lived in the era of the Tannaim, between the years of 70 CE and 200 CE. According to the above story, the descendants of the Rabbi Meir were the Rothschild dynastic family.

That same year, 66 CE, Titus Flavius Vespasianus (Vespasian) was appointed and sent with two legions and eight cavalry squadrons and ten auxiliary cohorts, to the Province of Judea to put down the rebellion that was threatening to spread throughout the Middle East.

Nero has been recognized in very early Christian tradition as the first persecutor of the Christian people, including the Apostles Paul and Peter. It was the Christian author, Tertullian (c. 155-230 CE) that was the first to identify the Emperor Nero as the first persecutor of Christians as quoted, “Examine your records. There you will find that Nero was the first that persecuted this doctrine” (Tertullian, Apologeticum, lost text quoted in Eusebius, Ecclesiastical History II.25.4) This fact is reputed by Suetonius, in “The Lives of Twelve Caesars, Life of Claudius” that claims that Christian were also persecuted in the Jewish expulsion from Rome around 44 CE. Like the Islamic Mahdi, the expectant messiah of Shi’ite Islam, for up to four hundred years after his suicide and death in 68 CE, it was imprinted into the legendary memory of the Romans that Nero was not dead and would return. In 422 CE, Augustine of Hippe, writing on the lingering hopes of the admirers of Nero these words:

Augustine the Great – “Others, again, suppose that he is not even dead, but that he was concealed that he might be supposed to have been killed, and that he now lives in concealment in the vigor of that same age which he had reached when he was believed to have perished, and will live until he is revealed in his own time and restored to his kingdom.” (Augustine of Hippo, City of God XX.19.3)

Later, Nero came to be recognized as the anti-Christ in Christian traditions. It was the “Ascension of Isaiah” that was the first text to identify Nero as the anti-Christ when it claims “a lawless king, the slayer of his mother…. Will come and there will come with him all the powers of this world, and they will hearken unto him in all that he desires.” (Ascension of Isaiah Chapter 4.2)

Today, many scholars believe that the number 666, is a code word for Nero in the Book of Revelation. These include: the Preterist eschatological scholars; Delbert Hillers of the American Schools of Oriental Research at Johns Hopkins University, and the Roman Catholic Biblical commentaries of “New Jerome Biblical Commentary” (The New Jerome Biblical Commentary. repeated our request. Again, they told us that no work had been done. That’s when we read the article to the person on the phone, naming Harold Brooks-Baker as a source. She then admitted that they had done some work on the genealogy. She said that we should talk with Harold Brooks-Baker, himself. She requested that we fax a letter and request a reply.

We did as she asked. Two days later, having received no reply, we called again. This time, we were able to get Mr. Harold Brooks-Baker on the phone. He asked why we wanted the information, and said he would have to clear our request with Washington. He said, ‘It’s a very touchy subject.’ He talked like there might be something to hide. Indeed! What might that closely-guarded secret be?
