As BibleSearchers, we are searching for a literal reality in the end of times events. What is so important about this? For two thousands years it has been the Christian expectation that we will be transformed into a spiritual existence and totally abrogating our sinful evil physical beings. We are spiritual Israelites? Well is this a Hebrew notion or rather a transformation of the philosopher Plato, who felt that the body was a prison, in which the spirit was yearning to go free. Is the ultimate goal of a Christian to set his spirit free or find freedom in the Image of God that God created us to be? Is the evangelical quest for a quick rapture before tribulation another variation of the Platonic notion of setting the spirit free from an evil body?

Of the billions of people over the history of man seeking to find spiritual quest in our literal life, we do not have any dramas in Hebrew history that give us an idea of how that spiritual quest will be fulfilled. Oh yes, we have Enoch, who was translated to heaven, Moses, who died but whose body was later challenged by Michael the archangel, and Elijah, who carried to heaven in a cherubim of God. But do only the elite get to go to heaven? Yet most of the dramatic events of the Hebrew people were around a call to a covenant relationship with God; rebellion, exile and punishment, redemption and finally restoration and the cycle returns. Or does it?

Throughout all the destructions of Jerusalem, exiles, restorations and holocausts, God is pictured as the prime Actor, yet it is all played out on the human side of existence. Destruction and exile was played out in our literal human dimension. The pain and agony of human suffering may have an existential spiritual meaning, but is it a meaning that even a Down’s Syndrome young adult, or a peasant in a third world country, whose simple life and simple mind does not exist much beyond the agrarian life of sustenance can understand? Trust in the Lord and faith in Jesus was the core of the martyrs who died for their faith hiding in the Catacombs of Rome and the Huguenots in the Alpine regions of northern Italy as they suffocated in the massive mountain grotto as the forces of papacy piled trees and bushes over the cave’s entrance and three thousand were annihilated in the smoky blackness of the mountain’s interior.

Yet at the end of times, something different will happen. Human suffering in the New Testament era was depicted by the morality of Yeshua as being caused by human evil. Men have created atrocities against each other and now in a “world of new morality”; we can now have a War against Evil that is against those who terrorize us, Americans. Yet when the worse atrocities that man can commit against man is finally completed in the Time of Tribulation and we have been fully exposed to the wrath of the satanic forces of the evil empire that the Antichrist wants to build on this earth, than the Wrath of the Lord of hosts will be sent upon this earth. If the Time of Tribulation is the Time of Satan’s Wrath, then when the Time of God’s Wrath finally comes with the seven last trumpets and vial plagues, what will make this time so distinctive? Will we know when it will finally come? Absolutely, for when God speaks the earth trembles and the entire world will know, this is the great Act of God.

The Acts of God

The Acts of God have always been distinctive from the acts of men throughout all history. Osama bin Laden may be the mastermind behind the 911 destruction and collapse of the Twin Towers in New York City, but his evil hands will never be found in the cause of a massive hurricane along the Florida coast or a massive flood in Houston, Texas, or series of volcanic eruptions along the northwest mountain chains of the high Sierras. Not in eternity. The Lord of hosts has his own way of speaking and at the end of times He will speak loud and clear.

Most Christians have a habit of brushing over the events at the end of times and wanting to quickly get to the real big moment in earth’s history, the Second Coming of Jesus or the Rapture. Many who think that they are spiritual are so inclined to even consider that all catastrophic events at the end will not affect them at all. Will they not be sitting in the box office seats on the sea of glass watching as special guest spectators as God’s plagues will be cast down upon this earth? Spectators they were while living on this earth, not wanting to be messy with the real work of living a physically spiritual life and spectators they want to be in heaven. Guess what, there will be no spectators. When the Apostle John was shown these events with the great multitude and the 144,000 Israelites, one of the ‘Elders’ sitting in the council seats around the throne told him;

Revelation 7:14 – “These are the men who have passed through the great ordeal; they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.”

As BibleSearchers, we felt it was important to look at the different types of cataclysms and try to understand the physics in the cause and the physical in the effect. In the earlier two paper, Major Planetary Changes at the End of Times and Isaiah the Prophet of Catastrophes, the Biblical evidence of catastrophic events in the Old Testament and foretold in the future was presented. Let us now look at some of the evidence explorers of the physical world have documented.

Polar Reversals

The Mid-Atlantic Ridge

Deep within the basins of the oceans of the deep is a strange phenomenon that depicts major electro-magnetic changes that have gone on this planet in the past geological history. In the middle of the Atlantic Ocean is a mountainous ridge meandering down the midst from the Artic to the Antarctica region. The striking geological evidence is that the Atlantic was once the fracture point where the western European and Africa continents once upon a time met coastline to coastline with the eastern United States and South American coastlines. The botton of the Atlantic is flat and smooth with sediment layers laid upon a sub-basaltic layer of ancient volcanic lava flows. Within these basaltic lava flows, scientists have discovered evidence of 171 magnetic polar reversals.

This rift in the bottom of the Atlantic is a long continuous volcanic eruption, which continuously pulls sediment from beneath the continental plate to above the surface. As such, the Atlantic continue to grow and widen. Scientists have estimated that as many as 85 million mini-volcanoes, called seamounts, line the North Atlantic ridge. Of these over 2.5 million are over 600 feet tall.

Numerous scientists are now suggesting the primal earth, which Christian would accept as the Garden of Eden was a world up to 30% smaller in diameter than our present earth. Part of this is due to the sinking of the Pacific Plate and the sediment beneath the Pacific moving over to the Atlantic side. When the Atlantic rift broke open and the sediment began swelling up, the Pacific continued to sink and the Atlantic to widen.

The lava as it erupted from the seamounts along the Atlantic ridge began to solidify. The magnetic particles within the lava at the time of solidification would orient themselves along the north-south magnetic axis of the earth. This magnetic pole is believed to be produced by electrical currents that originate in the liquid magma of the hot outer core. This magnetic current is continuously changing over the years.

What is the significance of that to a BibleSearcher? Three scientists, Hatch, Patton and Windsor have documented these cycles are related to major catastrophes recorded in the Old Testament. Further, it is their belief that these catastrophes are related to the repeated visitation of the protoplanet Mars before it settled into a stable orbit. These ‘close encounters’ of earth with a stellar body (proto-planet) of the size similar to the earth, produced cataclysmic electromagnetic fluxes, which reenergized the magnetic shields of both planets. These encounters were responsible for many of the earth’s terrestrial scarring seen on this earth today. They also produced the magnetic energy shield around our earth, which protected our planet from interplanetary dust and cometary’s impact for the last 2700 years. At the same time, let us look at the writing of the ancients and how they documented the catastrophes that have occurred on this earth.

Herodotus

In receiving the oral history of the ancient Egyptians during his visit in the 5^th century BC, Herodotus was told, “four times in this period (historical ages), the sun rose contrary to his wont; twice he rose where he now sets, and twice he sets where he now rises.” (Herodotus, Book 11,142)

Magical Papyrus

This Egyptian papyrus told of an era when a cosmic upheaval was of fire and water and when “the south becomes north and the Earth turns over.” (H.O. Lange “Der Magische Papyrus Harris, “K. Danske Videnskabernes Selskab (27) p. 58 quoted in World in Collision by Emmanuel Bvelikovsky, p. 120)

Papyrus Ipuwer

According to this early to middle kingdom papyrus, it told of an era when ‘the land turns round (over) as does a potter’s wheel” and ‘earth is turned upside down.”. This was associated with a terrible destruction in the land in the land of Egypt.

According to Emmanuel Velikovsky, this Papyrus is an Egyptian depiction of the plagues that occurred in the land of Egypt during the Exodus of the Israelites and told of the destruction in Egypt at a time of great catastrophic calamities. (Papyrus Ipuwer 2:8. Cf. Lange's (German translation) of the papyrus (Sitzungsberichte d. Preuss. Akad. Der Wissenschaften (1902), pp601-610 as quoted in Velikovsky’s World’s in Collision, 127)

Senmut’s Tomb

The astronomical ceiling in chamber A of the tomb of Senmut Senmut was the vizier to queen Hatshepsut and also the calendar registrar of Egypt, during the 18th dynasty (16th c. BCE). He was also chief architect of Queen Hatshepsut, the female pharaoh’s funeral mortuary temple near the Valley of the Kings.

According to A. Pogo, on the ceiling panel of this architect’s tomb, it “displays the celestial heavens including the zodiac and other constellation. The strange thing is the southern sky shows the constellations in ‘a reversed orientation.” (A. Pogo, “The Astronomical Ceiling Decoration in the Tomb of Senmut (XVIIIth Dynasty),” Isis (1930). P. 306 as quoted by Velikovsky in World’s in Collision, p. 127)

This star-map actually describes a planetary conjunction in which the planet position is defined to a certain sector of the sky, plus a solar eclipse. As such, precise astronomical calculation can date this map to the date, May, 1534 BCE (Ove von Spaeth, “Dating the Oldest Egyptian Star Map, International Journal of the History of Science, Centaurus, vol 42:3 (2000):159-179)

The Astronomical Ceiling of Senmut’s Tomb

Whereas Emmanuel Velikovsky identified Queen Hatshepsut as the Queen of Sheba who came to visit King Solomon, internationally recognized former head of the School of Archeology at Andrew University in Berrien Springs, Michigan, Dr. Gearty, believes that a firm case can be made that Queen Hatshepsut was the foster mother of the prince apparent to the Pharaoh of Egypt, Moses. Upon the exile of Moses and the death of Queen Hatshepsut, the nephew Thutmos III, a mighty Pharaoh in history became the Pharaoh that put the Israelites into bondage.

Plato: “I mean the change in the rising and the setting of the sun and the other heavenly bodies, how in those times they used to set in the quarter where they now rise, and used to rise where they now set”….”at certain periods the universe has in present circular motion, and at other periods it revolved in the reverse direction….Of all the changes which take place in the heavens this reversal is the greatest and the most complete.” (Plato, The Statesman or Politicus (trans. H.N. Flowler, 1925) p. 49, 53)

Mountain Uplifts

The earth and Mars are planets with cores of molten iron and mantle crusts heavily impregnated with iron. Mars is called the ‘Red Planet’ due to the large concentration of iron oxide pigmentation in the planet crust. A close flyby would affect the geo-magnetic shield of each planet, like two magnets in close approximation with each other. In outer space the magnetic poles of each planet would flip over and back and during their close encounters, the earth would wobble like a spinning top as depicted in the arc seen on the mountain ranges today.

The effect of Mar’s magnetic grasp upon the earth would have been like a ‘grappling hook’ sucking up the iron crust of the earth in the arc like patterns of crustal deformation now seen in two main mountain chains: the Alpine- Himalayan chain and the Circum-Pacific Chain.

The effect on Mars with a thinner crust was one of significant volcanism rather than deforming the crust. Olympic Mons, the largest Martian volcano is 16.2 miles high and 360 miles in diameter. There is also Arsis Mons, Pavonis Mons, Ascria Mons plus eleven other volcanoes identified that are larger than any volcano on earth.

One flyby, we see evidence of went right over the Americas, from the tip of Chile up the Pacific coast and through the Bolivian cap range and the Peruvian highlands to the central American chain of mountain and Sierra Madres on the west coast of North America. These are the same mountain chains in Peru, Ecuador and Bolivia in which we can now visit the magnificent ruins of Tiahuanco, Puma Punka and Sacayhuama and the city of Cusco and the evidence of massive mountain uplift in their environments.

The Himalayan Mountain chain, the tallest on earth, has been identified by Patton and Hatch as the route of the protoplanet Mars which passed over the earth during the Noachian flood at the time of the Spring Festival of Passover instituted at the time of Moses near Mount Sinai. The core to core distance between the two planets is estimated to be 14,500 miles or surface to surface distance or some 8500 to 9000 miles apart. At this time the visibility of Mars would have been remarkable as the spinning red globe would have taken up one-third of the sky to the fear stricken inhabitance of the antediluvian citizens in the ‘days of Noah’.

To the spectator on earth at the beginning of the Noachian flood, Mars would have been 150 times larger than the moon. As it streaked across the sky, it must have been a frightening sight to behold. Mars as it was approaching and passing the earth at approximately 28,000 miles per hour, the massive uplift of the Himalayan -Eurasian Mountain chain from eastern Asia to Western Europe was raised thousands of feet into the air in less than 240 minutes (4 hours), not millions of years as estimated by modern geologists. Like a magnet passing over a pile of iron shaving, it acted as a grappling hook and the might mountain chain was raised to its immense heights.

Collapsing tectonic plates

In 1929, a strange series of books, beginning with the book, the Lost Continent of James Churchwad Mu, were written by an enigmatic traveler-scholar by the name of Col James Churchwood. This series of books recorded the translations of ancient Naacal tablets discovered in India in the ancient literature from Nepal, China to the Mayan codices. They depicted major civilizations which lived in the Pacific ocean area, the area that is now thousands of feet under the present Pacific Ocean on what is now the collapsed Pacific plate. The Easter Islands and the Hawaiian Islands are just a remnant of that forgotten land.

Col. James Churchwood

Colonel James Churchwood claimed he discovered the ancient documents of the Pacific continent of Mu during a relief effort in India. The high priest of a Buddhist temple showed Churchwood tablets made by ‘holy brother’ sent from Mu to bring wisdom to its colonies (Kolosimo,57) Similar tablets were unearthed at Mayan sites and translated with the Landa alphabet to reveal the legend of Princess Moo and the island continents demise. A symbol believed to be the Greek letter mu was found in an 18,000 year old Mongolian tomb. The only physical evidence for the existence of Mu is the similarities between the people of Polynesia, Micronesia, and Melanesia. Is it possible they are remnants of Muian refugees?

Massive Uplifts

The ancient empires of the western South America

Evidence of cataclysms which have caused massive uplifts, that is raising up of the land hundreds and even thousands of feet into the air is evident in catastrophic archeology and geology. The coast of South America along the Peruvian and Bolivian Andean Mountain uplifts are a good example of the natural physical forces at place in the major tectonic upheaval.

Lake Titicaca

Have you thought what it would be like to live in a massive city 13,000 feet up into the air? One of the ancient mysteries of the world are the megalithic cities in the Andean uplift in South America is the city of Teohuanaco, 13,300 feet and about 800 feet above the present level of nearby Lake Titicaca, the highest lake in the world. This beautiful lake of the Andean uplift of Bolivia is the highest navigable lake in the world (12,500 feet) and whose depth is recorded at 1214 feet. This lake has every evidence of massive mountain uplifts with rock strata at a 30 degree incline, evidence of ancient shorelines, marine seashell strewn along it mountain slopes and reported fresh water seahorses living in it’s waters.

Indian legends for centuries have told of stone cities that even lie beneath the waters of Lake Titicaca. It was not until November, 1980, a pre-Columbian Bolivian scholar, Hugo Boero Rojo, with the help of a native centurion, Elias Mamani was able to document that ruins were truly lying off the coast of Puerto 218.jpg (23711 bytes) Acosta, a Bolivian port city on the lake near the Peruvian border.

According to Hugo Rojo, “we can now say that the existence of pre-Columbian construction under the waters of Lake Titicaca is no longer a mere supposition or science-fiction, but a real fact’ …. ‘The remnants found show the existence of old civilization that greatly anteceded the Spanish colonization. We have found temples built of huge blocks of stone, with stone roads leading to unknown places and flight of steps whose bases were lost in the depths of the lake amid a thick vegetation of algae.

Tianhuanco and the Tianhuanco Culture

Archeological evidence also depicts major civilizations, which were once oceanic ports that are now thousands of feet in the air on mountain ridges and peaks. Scholars are divided on when this culture actually existed. Bolivian archaeologist Arturo Posnansky believed it existed between 1600 B.C. to 1200 C.E. and his student, Professor Hans Schinder-Bellamy, creator of the Glacial-Cosmogony theory in the 1930’s) believed that theses megalithic walls are over 12,000 years before present.

Either way, they were in existent long before the Inca Empire, which existed in these areas during the era of the conquistadors of Spain in the 16^th century A.D. The megalithic city of Teohuanaco has every appearance of once being a seaport. Spread out over 226.jpg (21929 bytes) 400 acres, in a land with minimal soil erosion evidence, this city had at least 6 feet of silt evidence of a massive inundation.

Since Lake Titicaca is found in a region with a profusion of marine life fossilization, it is now assumed by scientists that this city was once an oceanic city. After a massive flood, in which this city was silted over, it was later lifted up in a massive and catastrophic uplift, 13,000 feet into the air. Peruvian legends clearly depict a world-wide flood like the flood of Noah, the Utnapischtim of Gilgamesh, the Sumerian Ziusudra, Persian Jima, the Indian Manu, the Maya Coxcox, the Greek Deukalion and Pyrrha, the Chinese Kien and the Polynesian Tangaloa.

The base of an ancient temple is all that is left after the Bolivian engineers used most of the stone for the construction of a railroad. Megalithic walls, steps and arch still remain. Cieza de Leon, one of the early Spanish chroniclers, in 1540, recorded in seeing two colossal figures, made with stone, depicted in long flowing robes and heads adorned with ornamental hats.

In the center of the temple proper is a massive gate, twelve tons, carved in a hard stone called andesite. Carvings on the stone depict a ‘weeping god’ and what has now been determined to be a solar calendar.

The strange thing, this calendar does not match our modern calendar or 365 ¼ days. Eventually published in a book, The Calendar of Tiahuanaco in 1956, Professor Schindler-Bellamy with an American astronomer, Dr. Allen, the solar year at Tiahuanaco came from a planet revolving more quickly and was the solar year was 290 days, divided into 12 ‘twelfths” of 94 days each, plus 2 intercalary days.

It was also determined that at this era, the present moon was not yet a companion of our earth but was still an independent exterior planet. There was also another satellite moving around our earth then, rather close, 5.9 terrestrial radii, center to center, compared that our present moon is at 60 radii. It moved quickly around our globe, rose in the west and set in the east like Mar’s satellite Phobos. The latitude of Tianhuanaco was then 10 degrees compared to the present 16.27, indicated a crustal shift of 6.27 degrees.

The science of Tianhuanaco has also been determined. Their circle is divided astronomically into 264 degrees rather than our present 360 degrees, they had already determined pi, before Archimedes and the Egyptians. They could calculate squares and also square roots, plus knew trigonometry, angle measurements, fractions, yet they did not have the decimal yet appeared to know the deodecimal system.

One mile from the main temple at Tianhuanaco is a megalithic canal which some scholars believe once connected the Pacific Ocean with the ancient Amazonian Sea that covered almost the entire northern central part of South America. The Amazonian Sea had an Atlantic Ocean entrance with the proto-Amazon River and the western side of the sea was linked to the Pacific Ocean with the mega-lithic sea-to-oceanic canal at Puma Punka.

The canal was built with limestone and andesite cut stones, some up to 27 feet long and weighing up to 300 tons. These blocks were incised with exotic key-stone cuts which would interlock the mega-stones in what were probably brass interlocking keys fitting into designs like crosses and triangles.

These stones are scattered over the landscape in an area which once was sea level, yet is now 2.5 miles higher in elevation. Here is a classic portrayal of the monumental forces evidenced in ancient cataclysms.

Sacayhuama and the city of Cusco

In the highlands of Peru, north of Tianhuanco and Lake Titicaca, near the snow capped Andes Mountains, is Cuzco, lying in the Urabamba valley. This is a world of legends and documented lost worlds and empires. At ten thousand feet in elevation, Cuzco was the center of the Inca Empire in which 650 tons of gold and jewels was send as ransom for the Emperor Atahualpa in house arrest by Ferdinand and Francisco Pizarro. Eleven thousand gold laden llamas never made it, as the emperor’s wife realized the ruse and the imminent death of her husband, ordered the mines and tunnels to be sealed.

Near Cuzco is a megalithic fortress whose origin even the Incas could not account. This city was not in any of their legends or historical accounts except that it was build by a race of giants. The walls of this city were laid out in the shape of a stylized puma, and the ancient name for Sacsayhuama is Saca Huma, which means, the head of a puma. The Quechua Indian name, Sacsayhuama means actually ‘satisfied falcon’ for the carrions that cleans the carcasses of the warriors in the horrendous battle of 1536, when the Spanish conquistadors defeated the Incans forces.

Today, Sacsayhuama is the site of Cuzco's largest annual festival, Into Ramie, (seen in photo at the left) held during the June 21st winter solstice. Three parallel walls, built in a zigzag pattern, were part of the defensive fortress, and correspond to the teeth of the puma.

Overlooking the Cuzco valley, this huge fortress, noted for it irregular shaped, gargantuan stone block, was made with cut stone, the largest, which weighs more than 300 tons or 600,000 pounds. They are faceted with up to twenty sides and fit, without mortar, so tight that a sheet of paper cannot be inserted between them. The ones remaining have withstood not only the attempts by the Spanish to knock them down, but for more than a half a millennium of earthquakes and other natural forces, they still stand even though the Cathedral of Cuszo has been leveled three times.

These stones are locked and dove-tailed in a manner which makes them earthquake proof. The Incas had no knowledge of advanced mathematics, as they were a relic of the Bronze Age (no iron tools), no known written language, and no evidence of a wheel have been found. This city to them and to us is truly a mystery.

The city sits over a vast labyrinth of tunnels, most of which have never been explored because they are so extensive. Also included were large subterranean aqueducts, which brought water to the city first from a nearside mountain then up an incline to the fortress.

Modern construction cranes would be incapable of building this type of construction. Also evidence show they had to move these huge megalithic stones from a distance in a mountainous terrain from quarries in Ecuador, almost 1500 miles away. The mountainous terrain gives full evidence of major cataclysms, massive uplifts which raised the Andes to thousands of feet into the air. If there was a pre-diluvian city, built before the flood of Noah, this one should be one of the major contenders.

The Evidence for Antediluvian Civilizations in the Bible

Genesis 6:4 – “There were giants on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of men and they bore children to them. Those were the mighty men who were of old, men of renown.”

Jude 5-7, 14-15 – “But I want to remind you, though you once knew this, that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterwards destroyed those who did not believe. And the angels who did not keep their proper domain, but left their own abode, He has reserved in everlasting chains under darkness for the judgment of the great day, as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities around them in a similar manner to these, have given themselves over to sexual immorality and gone after strange flesh, are set forth as an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire….”

“Now Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about theses men also, saying, “Behold the Lord comes with ten thousands of His saints, to execute judgment on all, to convict all who are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deed which they have committed in an ungodly way, and all the harsh things which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him.”

Crustal Shifting

The crust of the earth is like the peeling on an apple. To some scientists, it has been recognized that this crust can shift or slip while the gravitational oriented core remains the same. In other words, a sudden shift in the crust today could transfer Houston, Texas to the latitude of New York City in minutes with the resultant destructive changes that could go along with such a shift including the climatic changes: rain forest could become deserts, plains could become alpine regions, and temperate coral seas could become polar oceans.

Sun Novas and Solar Flares

Changes in the Speed of the Earth’s Rotation.

Isaiah 30:25-26 - And there shall be upon every high mountain and upon every high hill, rivers and streams of waters in the day of the great slaughter, when the towers fall. Moreover the light of the moon shall be as the light of the sun, and the light of the sun shall be sevenfold, as the light of seven days, in the day that the Lord bindest up the breach of his people, and healeth the stroke of their wound. Behold, the name of the Lord cometh from far, burning with his anger, and the burden thereof is heavy: his lips are full of indignation, and his tongue as a devouring fire:”

What do we see here? The Sun, that shining globe in the sky, which has been the source of life for mankind for thousands of year, will be going into what we call a Sun Nova, bursting with solar radiation seven times stronger than normal.

The Moon’s luminosity will increase also sevenfold, reflecting the sevenfold increase of solar

radiation, making the moons light will as bright as the present sun. “Tongue as a devouring

fire” suggests the earth temperatures will rise to unbearable levels.

Scientists have long predicted that eventually our sun, a symbol of unchanging stability, will gradually become erratic in its production of solar energy. This will include bursts of intense heat, times of quiet dormancy and gradually intensifying until it explodes, dies and shrinks to a dwarf star. At this time, all life that was dependent upon the sun will be annihilated.

Annual Sunspots Numbers - 1800-1993

This intensifying activity is called a Nova. It causes erupting solar flares and sun spots in what we call coronal mass ejection. During this time, huge quantities of ionized gases and plasma, all which carry a magnetic charge stream out through the solar system in a huge geomagnetic storm.

We do know that the sun is what is known as a variable output star in which the central core of off-centered. That means that the intensity in which it produces light and heat is not always constant. It has been determined that this cycle of waxing and waning solar activity is about 11 years. What appears to very stable and uniform, has a potential to be very catastrophic.

The cause of the Sun’s magnetic pole reversing every 11 years has been an enigma. If the forces that drive such a variable inferno could be understood, then scientists would be better prepared to understand solar flares and eruptions. These burst of intense magnetic energy periodically interrupt the communication systems on earth. Working off of decades of satellite data, Scientists at Stanford’s W.W. Hansen Experimental Physics Laboratory (HEPL) were looking for an astro-physical mechanism with the forces strong enough to cause polar reversals have now been identified, according to Elena E. Benevolenskaya, a physical science research associate. The electrified gas erupting from the solar surface in giant loops linking the Sun’s magnetic poles with the sunspots found near the sun’s equator. Each arc is about 500,000 miles, looped like a huge twisting rainbow. These loops connect with either the north or south pole and at the equator are connected with a sunspot which has an opposite magnetic polarity. Plummeting into the depths of the sun’s surfaces, about 135,000 miles is the source of the sun’s magnetism.

These magnetic loops peak about in intensity about every 11 years. The initial activity phase lasts about 12 to 18 months in which the inferno becomes more active. In 2000, the researchers at Stanford discovered two parallel layers of gas speeding up and slowing down every 12 to 18 months. It is their opinion that there two rotating gas layers churn the magnetic dynamic generator like a corona field, this time regulating the solar sun spots. By 2002, NASA scientists were beginning to call this unprecedented solar activity as a double cycle. We must now ask a question, will cycle 23 eventually become dormant and flare up with a more intense cycle 24 in the years 2008-2014 or are we seeing a crescendo affect as 23 and 24 erupt into the final solar burst at the end of times?

The source of the variable intensity of this turbulent sphere in the heavens comes what is known as the ‘convection zone’ in the outer third of the Sun. The source of all this variability is the turbulent Sun itself. The outermost third of our star sun -- the "convective zone" -- is boiling like hot water on a stove. Bubbles the size of the state of California rise 200,000 km (almost 100,000 miles) from the base of the zone, called the ‘interface layer’, to the Sun's surface where they turn over and erupt, releasing heat (generated by nuclear reactions in the core) out into space. Below the convection zone is the ‘radiative zone’ Below the ‘convective zone’ lays the "radiative zone", where photons are part of the energy transport system.

The energy fields within the sun are caused by vast electrical currents, which are ionized electrons, which are separated from their nuclei, due to the intense heat of the sun. This vast moving electrical field causes a magnetic field and produces its strong magnetic flares.

What scientists have found is that the star-sun is what we would call a solar-magnetic dynamo. At the ‘convection-radiative zone boundary, the motion, of the two layers of ionized gases against each other, produces massive electrical currents. The result of these energy currents are intense magnetic fields. The shear velocity becomes the driver of this energy pump.

The earth is obviously affected by these solar storms and the key to the stability of earth lies in its own geomagnetic field, a protective shield that surrounds the earth. A strong field serves as a shock front or absorber, which shields our earth from strong variation in solar flux.

The Northern Lights - Aurora Borealis

When the geomagnetic shield becomes weak, then several things can occur. It will trigger earthquakes within the earth, affect wind currents, cause a slowdown in the rotation of the earth, disturb climate zones, shift weather patterns and create extreme weather conditions.

Today while the coronal holes and solar flares called sunspots rage on the surface of the sun, wave after wave is sweeping past our earth. One benefit will be the spectacular Aurora Borealis caused by electrically charged particles bombarding our atmosphere.

In a recent article by NASA, called the Resurgent Sun, they explored this amazing double peaked cycle. In cycle 23, it initially peaked in mid-2000 and again in late 2001. One magnificent eruption, called “Bastille Day Event” sparked the appearances of the Aurora Borealis all the way down to Texas, caused brown-outs and satellite disruptions.

By mid 2002, the Sun was once again on a resurgent trend. As David Hathaway, a solar physicist at the NASA Marshall Space Flight Center stated, "The current solar cycle appears to be double-peaked," and the second peak has arrived.

Double-peaked Sunspot Cycles - 1980-1990

This is not totally unique as in 1980 and 1990; there was also a recorded double peaked cycle. What is unique is that there are now three cycles in a row with double peaks and each with a progressive magnetic intensity.

Twisting magnetic fields in magnetic loops explode out and snap back and then re-explode, sending solar flares and coronal mass ejection throughout the solar system, affecting all planets in our system.

Solar Radio Emissions

At the same time another phenomenon is the solar radio emissions, which result from the hot gases trapped in these magnetic loops. Using the radio emission standards, the second peak has been larger and more intense. With a second peak in cycle comes a more chaotic history of natural catastrophes such as storms, tornados, hurricanes, and typhoons.

As such, this Sun radiance is even brighter than 2000 or any past years in history. It appears that even with the eleven year cycle, there is even a longer cycle about 100 years. Between the years 1645 and 1715, there was a low period of solar activity called the “Maunder Minimum” in which few sunspots were seen for a total of six cycles and Europe was plunged into a mini Ice Age.

This resurgence brightness, reminds us of Isaiah again.

Isaiah 30:25-26 – “Moreover the light of the moon shall be as the light of the sun, and the light of the sun shall be sevenfold, as the light of seven days, in the day that the Lord bindest up the breach of his people, and healeth the stroke of their wound. ”

It will be with awe and fear as the world will experience before the coming of the Son of Man, the Sun going into a Nova with seven times the intensity of maybe 500 instead of the low average of around seventy five sunspots per year.

For you BibleSearchers, as celestial watchers, remind yourselves as you look at the moon outside and remind yourself how bright it is. For those whose interest in the Festivals of the Lord by the ancient Hebrews associated with proper calendar observance of the lunar cycle, maybe the Lord of hosts is once again pointing us to the heavens and the showing us the destructive power of what was once recognized as the Solar gods and the saving power of proper worship of the Festivals outlined by the brilliance of the moon.

For religious historian, we can possibly also account for religious revivalism based on the peaks and valleys of solar activity. Not only was the 17^th centuries an era known as a Mini Ice Age, but the religious atmosphere in the world depicted a religious fervor that was put in the freezer. The 1700’s saw a revivalism in religion both good and bad with the arrival of the Napoleonic Era and in 1798, the pope was taken captive and the Bible was banned from France. Religious fervor also gives rise to a resurgence of evil.

The early 1800’s was once again noted by a cooling era of religious fervor, yet with the magnetic resurgence of solar spots also came the Great Awakening in New England, looking for the soon and literal coming of Jesus by the Millerites and the ensuing camp-meeting revivalism of the mainstream Christian Churches in America.

The early 1900’s saw again conflict and apathy in the churches of American, yet with the along with the anti-Vietnam, hippie movements came also in the sixties a resurgence of solar activity and also a renewed interest in the Second Coming of Jesus now only within the Adventist Churches in American but notably group such as Campus Crusade for Christ who awaiting an apocalyptic future. Are we witness witnessing the hidden power of the Almighty, with the unlimited power of Energy to a 10^th dimension modulating the Sun to awaken His people to the soon return of His Only Begotten Son, Jesus our Lord.

If we believe the Hebrew record, as portrayed in the books, Isaiah, Matthew, Luke and Revelation, then we can see that this steady and stable condition in nature will abruptly change and with little warning. Let us be reminded that we, BibleSearchers, as a people who believe in the prophecies of end time events, must remember that after 2700 years of stable uniform conditions in the natural world, that we also will soon envision two addition eras of catastrophe in the future.

Future Catastrophic Eras on this Planet

The first era in the future is wrapped around the anticipation of the coming of Jesus, a global visible rapture. At this time, dramatic physical changes will be occurring within the bodies of those who have been declared ‘safe to save’. The ‘saints’ will be transformed from a three- dimensional ‘corruptible’ being into a new 'glorified’ fourth dimensional being. Yet, at the same time this earth will be making dramatic earth changes, which according to the Biblical scenario, depict a return of this earth to a new Pangea, a return of the Garden of Eden-like conditions. (Isa 66) Will this be the time of the millennial kingdom in which Y’shua will rule this earth with a ‘rod of iron’?

The second era of catastrophe will occur at the end of the millennium when this earth with its remaining inhabitants along with the fallen angelic hosts with their commander, Lucifer, will be destroyed as this earth along with the heavens (solar system and the sun) will be no more. The sun will explode in a fiery death and all the planets in the solar system appear to be annihilated with it. And then, a new heaven and a new earth will be created. This new solar system will be totally strange.

It will have no sun. For God, the Creator will bring the New Jerusalem and will engulf this earth. The Light and the Glory of the Father will take the place of the ‘starlight’ sun power.

Even so, with this in mind, the context of each of the above texts suggests that these events will occur just prior to the Prussia or coming of Jesus.

Signs in the Sun, Moon and the Stars

The eleven-year cycles of solar activity have now been documented and recorded for about 128 years. The peaks of the cycles coming up in the near future are as below:

Solar Cycle 23 1996-2002

Solar Cycle 24 2008-2014

Solar Cycle 25 2017-2024

Scientists have studied carefully these cycles, watching the intensity of the solar flares, the intensity of the geomagnetic storms and now can begin to suggest a predictive rate. What is projected for the present Solar Cycle 23 is that the peak dates for solar flares will occur on the following dates. January 1999 March 2000 June 2001

Yet, as we have noted, cycle 23 by mid 2002 was entering a second peak, or a dual phase cycle.

Cycle 23 Sunspot Number Prediction

While the peak of Cycle 23 has now matched the peak of Cycle 19 in the 50’s, which was the largest and most intense cycle in the 128 years of recording history, it has also been dual phasic and more erratic. As suspected by many scientists, these geomagnetic thrusts into our atmosphere are the cause of increasing number and intensity of hurricanes, droughts, floods and other weather related disasters around the world.

When we look at the end of ages through the eyes of Jesus, we see a similar scene as depicted by Isaiah 700 years before.

Luke 21:25-26 - And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.

The following diagram was sent out by Best’s Intelligence Services. It shows the High Risk dates for a Major Solar Anomaly, with the peak years being 2000- 2005. Starting 2008, the next solar cycle will begin. What is of concern to the scientists in 2002 was that the intensification appeared to be more prolonged than any prior cycles.

These solar cycle anomalies will be too evident to all residents in the world. Scorching heat will overpower all air conditioning systems and the electric grid in America and the rest of the Industrial world will collapse.

We witnessed in 2001 the distress of America, when California was facing blackouts and power shortages due to the inability to produce enough electricity. Image what it will be national wide or worldwide? In 2002 years North America, Europe and Australia report record temperatures, the largest acreage in forest fire destruction threatening both the Rocky and the Sequoia. National Parks. Whereas about 15% of the land in America is in drought in any given year, 2002 recorded up to 40% of the land in America was in drought. In Australia, over 80% of the land was drought stricken, while Europe was cooking in sweltering heat during the summer.

By 2002 as the BibleSearchers were studying these biblical passages on solar instability, the sun was creating a spectacular display to SOHO at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center on July 20, 2002.

The governmental leaders of the nations of the world could soon become distressed and perplexed. If this trend continues, the populations of the world will reach a crescendo of panic and fear. Without faith in God, and the knowledge that He will sustain us, cardiac arrests and heart failure will be fulfilled as ‘men’s heart’s fail them for fear’, and will cause many to die. Associated with this solar catastrophe will be cataclysmic tsunami or tidal waves, which will sweep over the coastal cities of the earth, as sub oceanic volcanoes will cause the seas to ‘roar’.

In the summer of 2002, a 60 foot giant squid was beached on the western coast of America. This was the first one ever seen except as documented in the ‘mythical’ tales of the ancient mariners. The evidence in scientific circles is beginning to suggest that the emerging ‘greenhouse effect’ is becoming an Act of God, in which the plumes of magma in the interior of the earth are become for active. The subterranean activities of the inferno plumes within the mantle of the earth are becoming activated. This is being currently recorded in increased volcanic activity and explosions and the evidence of the earth’s crust swelling beneath many dormant volcanic systems.

Will we soon witness the populations of the earth becoming sky watchers and earth watchers with anticipated fear of an impending calamity? Yet the BibleSearchers, with the knowledge that God is in control, will be seeking to settle their faith in Y’shua and letting God give them the strength to ride out the calamities under the protecting shield of the Almighty. When this day arrives, the international media will become totally focused on the extraterrestrial and supernatural events, as the governing laws of the planets and stars will show signs of instability.

This solar instability is further described in the literal historical account of the last days in the Book of Revelation.

Revelation 8:12 - “And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise.”

One theory suggests that a third of the visibility of the sun, moon and the stars will be diminished by 1/3^rd secondary to volcanic eruptions, high winds spewing dust and debris into the atmosphere all around the world. In other words, we will be entering into a solar winter.

A more literal interpretation also in keeping with the context of the phrase “and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise,” suggests that the speed of the earth’s rotation will speed down by a 1/3^rd or 8 hours. In other words, our 24 hour day will be shortened by 8 hours to a 16 hour day. Daytime will be only 8 hours and nighttime will be only 8 hours. The sun will be visible for only 8 hours (1/3^rd less) and the moon and the stars will be visible for only 8 hours (1/3^rd less). Compare this now with the following:

Matthew 24:21-22 - “For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time no, nor ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved; but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.”

Remember when we started this section on catastrophes in the world, how many Christian saints are counting on the time of the end to be shorted or hurried up. It states this is done on account of the ‘elect’ or the righteous ones. But to whom is it done for? Is it done so that the ‘saints’ will not die? No, it is done lest ‘no flesh be saved’, or that all mankind will be exterminated at once.

One end time model depicts the last days are defined as a certain number of days, 7 years or 2520 days, split into 1260 days (3 ½ years) and 1260 days (3 ½ years). Since this is a time specific prophecy whose days are set, then these days cannot be shortened.

In the context of Revelation 8:12 and Isaiah 35:26, the day would be shortened (i.e. 1/3^rd less or 8 hours), specifically that if the sun in going into a solar nova or massive solar flares with 7 times the intensity, then life on this planet would be spared the potential of extinction. But how will the earth’s rotation be sped up or cause to rotate faster? The most likely scenario is a continental hit by a comet at a diagonal along with the rotation of the earth.

We do not have any historical documentation of a day becoming shorter, but we do have historical record of a day becoming longer. Remember it when Jericho fell, when at the sound of the trumpets and the shouts of the Israelites marching around her, her walls collapsed as archeologists have depicted by a mighty earthquake. (Joshua 6) This is the beginning of events that depicted the era of Joshua and the Judges as filled with times of crustal instability and catastrophic astral events.

It was soon after this that Joshua and the Israelites met the forces of the United Coalition of Canaanite cities under the banner of Adoni-Zedek, the king of Jerusalem. Joshua and the leaders of Israel had made a covenant with the Gibeonites, who had sought their protection, even though it was under false pretenses, were now in trouble, because the coalition forces first surrounded their city to destroy it.

Joshua and the ‘mighty men of valor’ in Israel, did an all night forced march from Gilgal to Gibeon and caught the five kings of Jerusalem, Hebron, Jarmuth, Lachish and Eglon by surprise

and the Hebrews routed them. As they were chasing the Amorites,

Joshua 10:11 - ‘the Lord cast down large hailstones from heaven on them as far as Azekah, and they died. There were more who died from the hailstones than the children of Israel killed with the sword.

This is not all the story. This was not just a mighty hailstorm, but significant catastrophic events were happening all over the earth. The account in Joshua continues,

Joshua 10: 12-13 - “Then Joshua spoke to the Lord….and he said in the sight of Israel: ‘Sun, stand still over Gibeon; and Moon, in the Valley of Aijalon.’ So the sun stood still, and the moon stopped, till the people had revenge upon their enemies. Is this not written in the Book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and did not hasten to go down for about a whole day.”

Is this just another fairy tale, a story by the creative mythmakers on the beginnings of a national consciousness of a people? When you mix an earthquake, which topples the walls of one of the most fortified cities in the land, then enter the plains during a massive cometary’s shower of icy bolides and then the earth grinds to a stop for several hours and then resumes slowly its former rotational speed, we have multiple elements to suggest that this earth as it rotating towards the east, was hit by an asteroid, coming from the east hitting the surface of the earth in a westward diagonal hit. If the asteroid was sufficiently large and the angle of inclination of the strike was sufficiently low, then the earth’s rotation would skid to a stop.

This is not the only time this event occurred. Remember again, good King Hezekiah, who beseeched the Lord in the Holy of Holies, when Sennacherib was standing outside his walls preparing a siege to destroy Jerusalem. After the fiery ‘blast’ or cosmic bolides that destroyed the iron laden military forces of Sennacherib, Hezekiah became so sick that preparation were being made for his soon death. Even the court counselor and prophet, Isaiah, had gone to discuss the final preparations for his death. Once again, Hezekiah, beseeched the Lord and once again the Lord of hosts answered his prayers, this time with a sign, to move time forward or move time backwards by causing the shadow of the royal sun dial in the palace courtyard to go forward or go backward. The choice was Isaiah’s. Daily he watched the sundial go forward, that was easy 2 Kings 20:10) He asked the Lord to move the sundial backwards. This had never been done before. And so the Lord “brought the shadow ten degrees backward, by which it had gone down on the sundial of Ahaz” (2 Kings 20:11)

Take the events of the cosmic bolides and the sundial going backward, once again suggesting the slowing of the earth’s rotation, we again have evidence of an asteroid hit or the magnetic pull of a close fly-by of a massive planetary body on the other side of the earth, whose magnetic shield was pulling and slowing the orbital rotation of the earth. Once again as in the days of Joshua, it was an era filled with times of crustal instability and catastrophic astral events.

As such, ‘Magi’ observers of end time events have other natural sign to document, plot and observe: the weakening of the Earth’s geomagnetic field and weather related disasters.

Weakening the Earth’s Geomagnetic Field

As the Sun becomes more erratic in its own behavior, such as increasing solar flares, sun spots and geomagnetic storm, the geomagnetic shield which surrounds the earth is getting weaker, alarmingly weaker and is fast approaching zero. It is felt that the most beneficial ‘gauss strength’ of the geomagnetic field strength is between 7.4 and 12.

Today, a satellite reading of our geomagnetic field is a mere 0.4 to 0.7 gauss. Between 1835, when we started measuring and monitoring the ‘magnetic moment’ in the field strength of the earth, and 1965, the geomagnetic field strength of this earth diminished 14%. As early as 2030 AD, the geomagnetic field around the earth may hit zero. So, what happens when this protective shield is down?

First, studying the geological record, we find evidence that at least 175 times the geomagnetic fields have diminished to zero and a magnetic reversal of the poles has occurred. This means the poles have shifted to a different location.

Second, when the geomagnetic field diminishes, it allows unhindered solar energies to flow in unimpeded into the earth’s crust, creating extremely low frequency waves, associated with large air pressure changes, can create a electrical stimulation that can bring on a seismic event in the form of an earthquake.

Third, besides shifting of the poles and triggering earthquakes and deflecting solar radiation, it also serves as a shield to deflect comets and other stellar bodies from invading our atmosphere. In other words, it protects us from comet impacts.

Fourth, the jet streams in the air and the giant oceanic gulf streams all carry electrical charge with them. The solar electrical magnetic storms affect these jet and gulf streams, diverting these streams to different locations and affecting air and water temperatures. It also affects directly the atmospheric pressure by creating low pressure troughs associated with severe weather changes such as hurricanes.

Fifth, the crustal stability of the earth is also being challenged, by a noted slowing in the rotation of the earth. Since 1965, the speed of the earth’s rotation has been slowing down by 9 milliseconds per day. This might not sound like much, but there is a tremendous amount of energy that is used to keep this earth rotating. As it slows, the energy potential is transferred to the crust of the earth, causing again, and increased risks of earthquakes.

Sixth, the fluctuations in the atmospheric and magnetic currents, is causing the earth to increase the wobble in its rotation. When a top spins, we always note a wobble. As it slows down, the wobble increases, until it topples over. Between 1850 and 1950, the meandering of the magnetic north poles has averages about two miles per year. Since 1950, our Magnetic North Pole has moved ever 200 miles. So this wobble has doubled.

Seventh, the increased penetration of solar radiation, coupled with moving the jet and gulf currents and thereby shifting the flow of warm and cool water, is causing an increase in the overall temperature of the global climate, plus changing the weather pattern in various climates and ecosystems. This is the effect of Global Warming.

Effects of the Loss of the Earth’s Geomagnetic Field

The “field strength’, gauss strength or the Magnetic Moment of this earth is approaching zero. When it does, a magnetic pole reversal is expected.

With the loss of the Magnetic Moment, there is an increased risk of a comets impact due to loss of reflection by the Geomagnetic Field

It also causes an increase in the low pressure troughs resulting in hurricanes and typhoons.

The rotation of the earth is slowed down due to the loss of magnetic forces.

There is an increase in the Wobble of the earth’s rotation and an increase in earthquakes.

The loss of the magnetic shield also causes an increases in temperature from increased solar radiation or Global Warming

Imagine the discussion of global warming among scientists, as the sun continues to get hotter and hotter. Imagine the intensified scientific inquiry, such as portrayed in the Discover magazine presently on the newsstand. The November, 1999 issues portray an article, ‘Antarctica’s Hot Spot’ on pages 102-109. Let us quote, “The more immediate goal concerns a regional warming trend in Antarctica. Hurricane Fabian over the Bahamas – September 3, 2003

By 1999, the U.S. had sustained 42 weather-related disasters over the past 20 years in which overall damages and costs reached or exceeded $1 billion. *36 of these disasters occurred during the 1988-1999 period with total damages/costs exceeding $170 billion. Seven occurred during 1998 alone – the most for any year on record, though other years has recorded higher damage totals. All figures below reflect direct and indirect damages, costs and deaths.

In Washington D.C., for the first time the Metro trains and buses were shut down. The Federal offices, schools, airports were closed and for four days the world lived without any intervention from Washington D.C. Let us remind ourselves, hurricanes are one of the forces of nature that man has no control and as such we call them the “Acts of God”.

Hurricane Isabel may not be the most costly hurricane in American history, but it will be remembered by the nation of America. The most costly hurricane in history was Hurricane Andrew in 1992. If Hurricane Isabel had hit Washington, Baltimore, New York and Philadelphia as it traveled up the coast, the costs would have been enormous. Did President Bush’s decision to veto the UN resolution against Israel, save America millions and spare maybe hundreds of lives?
